Thinking out loud

Slack Blogger

Blogging | February 25, 2009

Wow, what a slack blogger I have been. I've been keeping the stories fairly regular, but my blogging has been a bit off (to say the least). I could blame the short days, a busy work schedule, too many social occasions or a bunch of other things, but I won't. The reality is that I've been too lazy to think of anything worthwhile to say.

And, this is now adding to the problem because this is a blog about being slack, which doesn't make all that much sense, or even provide any real entertainment... so, here is what I will say: I love, love, love the new blogging and profile area. So, my pledge is that from here on in I will aim to blog more frequently, providing both insightful and entertaining entries for the masses. I will be witty and jovial, reflective and thoughtful, provoking and controversial, and many other adjectives that make me sound much more awesome than I really am. But I will do it none-the-less, with vigour and grunt, like a wild boar chasing an unsuspecting child through the undergrowth.

Hmmmm... that metaphor was slightly disturbing. However, it sums up my enthusiasm - raw and unfettered.

Thank you and goodnight.

DiggBar is a huge move by digg.com. It will be massive. It may almost be too massive and destroy the brand.
